Loooong Overdue
Aug. 1st, 2014 02:45 pmWhile completing
jenthompson's CoCo "left behind" mission, I realized I still hadn't blogged about this costume. And I made it almost TWO YEARS ago! It is definitely my favourite Halloween costume I have ever made. I put a fair bit of work into the construction and I think it turned out really well. It's a Disney Snow White costume. The only major changes I made were to shorten the skirt and add pockets.

( Construction Details )
I wore this costume with a bunch of other friends all in Disney themed costumes (including Belle, Cinderella, Esmeralda, Pocahontas, Little Mermaid/Ariel, Mulan, Robin Hood, Aladdin, Carpet, Hercules). It was awesome. Some of us went to the local ComicCon a couple days later and we got lots of compliments. The little girls liked the princesses (me and another friend dressed as the Little Mermaid), but the biggest hit was my boyfriend who dressed up as the fox version of Robin Hood. I made his costume too, which involved orange suede pants that had a tail attached.
