As promised, a couple of quick bathroom pics of the dress-in-progress from my fitting. You can see that there's some wrinkling at the back under the arm and at the waist, but I'm thinking that the waist wrinkling should go away once a skirt is attached and if I have my petticoats and rump a bit higher up.

Left to do: sew tops of sleeves and shoulder straps, hem sleeves, pleat and attach skirt, hem skirt, finish bodice at waist.

Looking nice. I always get those wrinkles at the back of the arm. I’ve put them down as a necessary evil to get the range of motion.

You’ve got such a pretty light yellow.

They're not usually big wrinkles, but for me they usually go away as soon as I lift my arms just enough to put my hands on my hips so I've always assumed they need to be there for range of motion.

Is it maybe due to needing a slight drop of the bottom of the armsceye? Or will you just apply the weight of the skirt as you reference?

I'm pretty crap at fitting, this is a legitimate question and not a snarky "helpful" suggestion.

The front looks amaaaaazing.

Those pesky waist wrinkles from SA. And then you add the skirt ad suddenly its' short-waisted and you wonder about your life choices.
