Clothes and such
Jul. 31st, 2006 02:41 pmWent shopping last week. Got a bunch of socks, a white zip-up, a brown corduroy skirt, and a pair of GREEN SHOES that are all pretty and beaded and embroidered and wedges and have ankle straps. They are so pretty and cute.
Also, just finished making a nice, white cotton summer dress. It's made of a light crinkly cotton with white cotton lining. It's looks fashionable, and the only way I can justify wearing clothes that are in style instead of clothes that go out of style is by saving money on them by making them. It has tucks on the bodice (which I love the look of) and cotton lace trimming it. It fits a bit too snugly in the bust as it is extremely difficult to zip it up there, but after basting in the zipper twice I gave up since it does close. Next up is to start in on my Elizabethan stays, since I now have the smaller cable ties.
