Been sewing
Aug. 9th, 2006 09:20 pmI cut out and have been sewing the boning channels for the Tudor/Elizabethan stays. They are made of two layers of cotton canvas and one layer of black satin with the stitching in red. Figuring out a pattern for the boning was a bit tricky since I wanted to have some diagonal channels in the front/sides and back and still be able to bone into the tabs. I think I figured it out though. We shall see.
I also went on a road trip to Fargo with some friends and picked up a pair of jeans, a black tank top, a super soft burgandy sweater, and two pairs of socks, one knee-high brown harlequin and the other over-the-knee black and red stripe. I tried IHOP for the first time and we went to Chili's. I think there used to be a Chili's here about 15 years ago, but my memory isn't that great, so I'm not too sure.
