So apparently re-threading the machine will make it work. This is all my mom had to do and then it was sewing perfectly. I guess I shouldn't have given up after re-threading the bobbin. This discovery means that yesterday I finished sewing the blanket and I even embroidered a little message. Next up: My friend wants to know if I can alter a dress for her to wear to a wedding. Next up for historical clothes: The 1879 corset mock-up.
Yesterday was my boyfriend's birthday/birthday party. I drank a fair amount and didn't get to bed until after 5:00am. Woke up at about 8:30am-ish and couldn't get back to sleep. So I got out of bed at 9:30am and got ready for work and then worked for 7 hours. I am SOOOO tired. Plus, I didn't eat all day because I felt sick/slightly hungover. So I was also extremely hungry but afraid to eat in case the food made me sick. Good times.
