Bah. I have some things all ready to go but can't sew them because my mom's sewing machine is not working at the moment, and hers is the one I usually use, and my machine has really messed up tension and I really don't like to use it even though I tried yesterday for about an hour and ripped out the same seam about five times before giving up. (Now there's a run-on sentence.) So, my 1879 corset mock-up is on hold, as well as the blanket I promised my boyfriend for his birthday on Saturday. Both are all cut out and even started on for the sewing part. It's very frustrating. And the blanket would be so easy to make; just sewing two big pieces of fabric together with a bit of decorative quilting. Plus, if I got sick of trying to fit the Victorian corset, which I do forsee happening in the not-too-distant future, I could be working on my good version Elizabethan stays if I had the right sized cable ties and Home Depot hadn't been out of them the last time I was there. Not to mention the 18th century stays as well, but the 'bethan stays are priority since I want them for to be a pirate for Hallowe'en. (Ha, piraty priority.) Bah! Bah, I say!
