Bodice and skirt

mala_14Some pictures showing me in the bodice and skirt, now that they're sewn together and the skirt has closures. Still need to sew in a loop and button on the inside flap of the skirt to make sure it stays closed. In the side pic where I'm showing off the pocket, you can see that the skirt is inclined to open a bit. Don't want that happening!
Also, how the closure works:
The whole thing is open in the front. The bodice and skirt are two completely separate pieces that are whipstitched together at the waist.
However, the skirt and bodice are left separate at the front so that the skirt and bodice closures don't get in each others' way because they both overlap each other.
The skirt waistband has 2 snaps that get snapped together first, with the front gores overlapping.
Then the waistband is covered by bottom edge of the bodice when it's closed with all of it's numerous fastenings.
