Stuff and such

mala_14Another tiring weekend. Most people work during the week and relax on the weekends. I do the exact opposite. My only shifts are Saturday and Sunday, but added to that is the fact that usually people go out on those nights, so that means I'm up late at night and work early-ish in the mornings. Always glad for Monday. It's a nice day of sleeping in and recouperating.
I saw Knocked Up this weekend. It was really funny. Well, except there was one gross part that I could have done without ever seeing. Ick! Those who have seen the movie will know what I'm talking about. I won't spoil it for those who haven't. So I definitely recommend seeing it. Also watched the Sopranos finale. Crazy! My boyfriend and I watch it every week, and when the screen went black we thought his cable went or something. I'm not gonna say much more about that either cuz, well, spoilers.
On the sewing front, I've been putting in more eyelets. I just did 6 and I have 6 more to go. Not too shabby. Add to the sewing list that I need to finish a black and white dress I started a looooong time ago. I'm going to a semi-formal social on Friday, so I figured a new dress would be nice. It's black and white cotton. It's all put together, I just need to bind the top in black, make a black belt, and throw on some straps. It's made from this pattern, View C but with straps. It pretty much looks like the inspiration pic at the top, second from the right. So that's that.
