I unknowingly heat set my erasable/fast-fade fabric marker. So now there are faint marks left on the front of the corset panels where I numbered them. I tried washing them out, using Shout on them, and using lemon juice. No luck. Tomorrow I'm trying white vinegar. SO annoying. I got the other half of the corset assembled and the busk put in, but am now feeling rather demoralized with the darn thing.

With the vinegar, use some powdered detergent -like Tide, mixed together. Let it sit on the mark for a bit and then try to remove it once it's soaked through.

I don't think you have any idea HOW MANY TIMES I covered my screw ups with decoration. Why do you think my costumes are so fancy? They all start out a plain jane gown. Then I make horrifying irreversible mistakes, and am forced to cover it up with bling, bows, trim, glitter, flowers, everything!!

Hugs back! Thanks for the words of encouragement. None of my stain removal efforts were successful, so it looks like the boning casings are a go. I planned on putting boning in most of those places anyways, but was going to do internal casings. I guess it's just a small switch.
