Thank you so much everyone for your thoughts about American Duchess shoes! Super helpful stuff! (Especially
starlightmasque who was just excited about pretty shoes and enabling costume buying habits. ;p) I think 7.5 is my safest bet for my wider feet, since I'm sort of on the cusp between 6.5-7 in regular shoes. I can always stuff the toes or heels a bit, if needed, or even stockings might be enough. Of course, I'll never really know if they'll fit my feet until I try them on (
isabelladangelo made a good point about how they don't fit her or her mom's particular feet because of the height at the back of the heel), but that's the best I can figure. So this might be one of my Christmas presents... :)

Date: 2015-11-28 03:46 am (UTC)I almost had something to add. I was going to buy the American Duchess skiddoo shoes but I needed to check on something with the makers. And while I was doing that someone bought them on me. The last one in my size of those shoes EVAR!!! *sobs*
I was thinking if you do have trouble with them too high in the heel an arch support insert might help a lot. You can get them for very little on aliexpress.com Just in case, I thought I'd mention it :-)
