Young Victoria
Jul. 8th, 2007 11:11 pm I've been very uneventful in the sewing department. :p But only because I've been working. After tomorrow I won't work again until Sunday, so plenty of sewing time and therefore pictures.
On another note, I just saw The Devil Wears Prada, and I was pretty sure I had seen one of the actresses before. No, not in the obvious way. I mean Emily, the other assistant. Anyways I looked her up (Emily Blunt) and it turns out she was Catherine Howard in the not great Henry VIII movie. Anyways, getting to the point, she is going to be playing young Queen Victoria in the first year of her reign. Movie is set for 2009. I am very excited. Late 1830s costumes! So, anyone who liked Jane Eyre clothing, here's another one for the same era. I hope the costumes are good. It's supposed to focus on her troubles with ruling and the romance with Prince Albert. I'm guessing they want to cash in on the success of Elizabeth. Just something to look forward to. :)
