Sewing... sort of
Jul. 5th, 2007 12:33 pmI've started hand-sewing the red ribbon to the seams of the gold stays. I'm whipstitching both edges, and it's going fairly quickly. I've only done one so far, so maybe not that quickly. Since there's not much progress, no pics, but when I have a few more I'll post a nice picture. It looks really pretty. :)
Not much sewing because I've been busy with so much stuff. I had a softball game the other day and yesterday I went with my dad to visit our horse. I won MIP (most interesting player) for that game. I should have taken my camera along for pictures of our horse. She's a gray Polish Arabian named Lacey (short for Chantilly Lace, and no, we didn't name her). Instead my dad took some pictures on his cell phone. She managed to her both her back legs in the past few years so we can't ride her any more, but we used to and she's really pretty and her personality really reminds me of our old dog who passed away earlier this year.
I guess that's it for now. I won't have much time for sewing this weekend since I work Friday, Sunday, and Monday. But after that I should have lots of progress and pictures.
