With my other two mock-ups decently complete I thought I'd get started on my Victorian corset. I'm using this pattern here. It's from 1879. I had to do a fair amount of adjusting and guessing and I still haven't even enlarged the thing. I made it an inch longer and greatly reduced the bust and hips. I have some leftover plum silk from my grad dress that I'm going to use for the fashion fabric and trim and sew it with black. Once I get this mock-up done then it will be time to get some canvas and cable ties and start on the real thing for all three. I dread sewing all those eyelets. :P

I considered making it without bust gores as I thought that would be simpler and I found a pattern for that too, but from what I've read the gores give an extra push up there ;) and I think I could use the help.
