Cable ties

mala_14With all the CC people coming back and all their evil photos that make me incredibly jealous, I'm so overwhelmed that I haven't commented on any of them. However, for the record, I would like to say that everyone looked fabulous and it looked like an extremely wonderful time. I'm glad you all had fun.
I have a slightly crazy ambition to complete my Elizabethan stays this week. I finished sewing all the channels and almost have all the cable ties in. There are 74: 64 done and 10 more to go. After that all I have left is to sew down the seam allowances, sew the eyelets, and bind it. The end is in sight!... Although what's left is all hand stuff, so I'm not too sure about getting it done this week. Plus I might have to go into work tomorrow, so there's another setback. Bah! Darnnit, for sure I am going to be done next week some time.
I know I love it when other people post pictures, but I am such a procrastinator. I think I'll just put it off until it's finished. Then there will be pictures of the stays, my new white dress that I sewed, and the black one I made about two years ago that I am extremely proud of because it was my first attempt at seriously altering a pattern all by myself.
