I've had a hankering to go to Costume College for years now. After every August long weekend my friends list is a smorgasbord of gorgeous pictures of amazing costumers having great times in beautiful clothes. And this year was no exception. And then I heard that next year's theme is Literary Characters and that sort of set off bells in my English major brain. And then I started thinking about how much money I had saved up and looked into some flights and realized that I could actually afford it. And then my dad told me, "Of course you should go. You've been wanting to go for a really long time." So...

Maybe you'll see me at Costume College next year? *fingers crossed*

XD yep, it's about the only thing that could get me to cross the pacific again :) That and the fact it is on the west coast and could be turned into a nerd fest (Shuttle!!! LACMA!!! i know they are in different places but once you have crossed the Pacific Ocean they are almost meaningless distances ;) )

I would be able to wear Mina and my Phantom costumes.. sigh...
