Sleevils Part Deux

Well the back of the sleeve looks much better now. Fairly smooth with just a little normal wrinkling under the arm. I have spent SO much time staring at sleeves, both reproductions and originals, to see how they work and what they look like. Actually, most of the garments from this period with the small back tend to have wider sleeves. I can see why. This whole process would be so much easier with looser sleeves because then that excess behind the arm wouldn't matter. I think I need to curve in that part of the sleeve. The front is also causing me a little bit of concern. There are some stress wrinkles at the front shoulder and the bodice is pulling away from my body at the front. I think that rounding out the front of the sleeve a bit more should help. One more mock-up should do it... hopefully. I'm so ready to be done with these sleeves. :-p
