Boston area: -Museum of Fine Arts downtown (the Art of the Americas wing is wonderful) -Peabody Museum at Harvard in Cambridge (they have these cool glass flowers) -John Adams House in Quincy (actually three houses, the birthplaces of John Adams and John Quincy Adams, plus the house John Adams lived in during retirement) -Longfellow House in Cambridge (nice period house, obviously where the poet HW Longfellow lived) -Gore Place in Waltham (early 1800s period house) -Sewfisticated Fabrics (awesome discount fabric store, they have locations in Cambridge and Framingham)
