Elizabethan Stays

Alright, so I did a mock-up for the 'Bethan stays. It really, really sucked. This was a while ago and I got very frustrated and was considering the option of just taking the pattern off my 18th century stays. However, after yesterday and looking much, much closer at about fifty billion other people's stays (much thanks to Drea Leed, The Renaissance Tailor, Demode,
jenthompson,
sarahbellem,
lizcostumes,
eldawen345, and
jennil) I realized that I'm just stupid. I lengthened the stays WAY too much due to my lack of realization that they should end near the natural waist. So, I've drawn some adjustments on them and should be getting started on that soon. I was wondering why they wrinkled so much and was much confused by all the straight seams because it wasn't working right. Now I understand. May still put in a curved back seam. Haven't quite decided yet. I should hop to it. Maybe even some pictures if all goes well.
