A couple of vintage purchases

mala_14Before the summer ended, I went to the local antiques store with my dad and he bought me this adorable little brooch. It's marcasite (which I've been wanting for a while) and the birds have little red eyes. So cute!
I also went to the States this summer and visited a really cool antiques mall. There I purchased this little gold-toned pin. Research leads me to believe that it's from the 1950s since the brooches I've seen in this style (the three loop bow with a little something in the centre) were dated to the 1940s and 1950s.
So now my vintage brooch collection is up to three! :)
