mala_14Believe it or not, but we have snow. Snow in May is just a travesty. And it was so nice out yesterday, and tomorrow is supposed to be really nice. Here's a picture from today, the view from our front window:
I guess a snow day means a sew day for me. There was a fabric sale recently and I picked up a cotton poplin print to make a circle skirt. It's ivory dahlias or 'mums outlined in coral. I looked through my very small, random button collection and happened to find the perfect button for the waistband. It's just plain and smooth, but it matches the ivory tone exactly. I also picked up some zippers and lace at a good price.
