I finally finished the binding on the top of the gold stays last night. So there are pictures of that.

jennylafleur's post about waving hair, I decided to give it a try. Someone who commented on her entry put in a link about waving using a single-barrelled iron. That's what's at my house, so here are the results. Only the front as the back wouldn't wave for some reason. It didn't take that long. Maybe half an hour or so, and that includes waiting for the second iron to heat up, and a little bit of unpacking groceries for my mom. (Sorry, no smiles. I was concentrating too hard on getting pictures. :) )
My bangs were waved with a smaller barrelled iron. My longer hair is pulled back into a ponytail. (I look cross-eyed. Teehee!)

With my hair out of the ponytail. I had made some attempt at curling the ends, but it didn't go well. If I ever try to do this hairstyle for real I think I'll try pincurling the long hair.
