Ok, first off Persuasion is the best movie ever, so good choice there! :) Secondly, while Jefferson in Paris and The Affair of the Necklace have some pretty costumes, the stories are a bit middling. A Very Long Engagement, on the other hand, is one of the most beautiful and moving films I've ever seen. I'd give it ten stars out of 5 or more. Its such an incredible movie. Total love.
I also really love the new Jane Eyre and North and South is utterly fabulous, just to name a few. I really could go on and on. ;)
