Movies: Thoughts, No Spoilers
Dec. 23rd, 2015 01:37 amI saw the new Star Wars movie the other day. And it was a good time. MUCH better than the prequels. Definitely fun and enjoyable.
BUT, I just got back from seeing Brooklyn, and OMG, SO good! Seriously. I laughed, a lot. And came close to tears at other points. It was just a really great movie. A very tiny bit at the very end bothered feminist me, but other than that I loved it. It's such a human story with wonderful characters. It's set in 1952 and the costumes are nice with some really beautiful coats and sweaters. I HIGHLY recommend it.
So GO! See these movies! But especially see Brooklyn! (I don't feel like I really need to encourage people to see The Force Awakens, because tons of people are going to see it anyways. Brooklyn seems to only be playing in select theatres.)
