Dreaming

I had such an awesome and hilarious dream last night. jenthompson and nuranar were on a trip together, either to Canada or one of the states that borders Canada and I had gone to meet up with them. We were out at a restaurant and were met by several other people that I can't quite remember, some were my friends in real life and I think a couple might be more LJ people because I distinctly remember asking someone if they had ever been to Canada. I think it might have been ashamanja_babu and I think starlightmasque was there too. Then the big, noisy group of us went outside and were being way too loud and raucous and waking up the people who lived around the restaurant, including the people doing living history at the historic building across the street. One of these people was reine_de_coudre! She joined us, along with her husband. And then we all had lots of great costume conversation. Part of which involved nuranar saying we all had to go to Las Vegas, because that's where Costume College was! The end. lol

Bodice and skirt

Some pictures showing me in the bodice and skirt, now that they're sewn together and the skirt has closures. Still need to sew in a loop and button on the inside flap of the skirt to make sure it stays closed. In the side pic where I'm showing off the pocket, you can see that the skirt is inclined to open a bit. Don't want that happening!
