The Craziness that is my current life

Ok, so I haven't been posting, but I have a good excuse. My life this past month has been ridiculous. I'm back at school which means I have to go to bed early so I can get up early and go to class, not to mention the homework that needs to get done. My grandfather also died in early September. My grandmother said that my uncle missed him too much and called him away. Poor grandmother. She lives by herself now in that big house. I was also busy throwing my friend a wedding shower and a stagette. And this past weekend I went to my friend's sister's wedding which was a crazy party. Work is also thrown in there a little bit. And I agreed to make my friend a Hallowe'en costume for her wedding social which is on Hallowe'en (duh!). So I've been grinding away at that. It's an overgown to go over her old grad dress. It's an 18th century style overgown. Think an open robe a l'Anglaise but not over stays. Her grad dress is burgandy satin and the overgown is made out of a plum-blue shot taffeta with an embroidered purple scroll pattern. It'll be trimmed with black organdy, purple satin ribbon, and silver rick-rack. Pictures will eventually come I hope. This is just a short update from a school computer. I need to head off to get stuff done. This is the week to end all weeks in terms of business. I work tomorrow, need to hem my bridesmaid dress, the rehearsal is on Thursday, my bride friend is taking us to the spa on Friday as her gift, and the wedding is on Saturday. Phew! What a time this will be.
