Northanger Abbey
Jan. 21st, 2008 08:21 amThis one I quite enjoyed. I think Andrew Davies did a good job of adapting Northanger Abbey. I found parts of it so funny I actually laughed out loud. Although it was a bit racy (I definitely never interpreted some of those things that way when I read the book) it still all seemed to fit. There were some nice costumes, but nothing spectacular. I liked all the funny hats. The waistlines seemed a bit all over the place, though. Nothing horrific though, which is more than can be said for how Mansfield Park looks. But that's next week. Overall, I give Northanger Abbey 3 and a half out of 5.
