Happy Canada Day!!!

Okay, well, techinically it's the day after Canada Day, but I was working yesterday. It was not fun. The weather got all cold and rainy, and as I work outside... It's pretty self-explanatory. It started thundershowering and the wind was going nuts, so rain started to get into our kiosk and we had to cover one of the counters with a tarp and it still got wet. We tried to put on some of the boards that cover up the windows and I swear we were out there for about 1/2 a minute and we were soaked. It was pretty miserable. Plus, business wasn't that great money-wise. And just as we were closing, the entire kiosk was almost put away, customers showed up so we had to deal with them. It sucked. I was very glad to get back to my friend's house where we had been BBQing and hanging out. Except that took forever because the traffic was nuts. All in all, I'm glad it's the next day. My boyfriend is having a BBQ/pool party. So that should be fun. Except that it sorta looks like rain again. Oh well.
