I marked out the eyelets on both stays. Mine will be handsewn in white, but my friend's are metal. While I thought that was going to save me a lot of trouble, I've noticed something: Making holes by using pointy objects instead of punching actual holes in the fabric is still a lot of work even if I'm not whipstitching all around them. So far I've set in 8. That means only 12 more to do for the back. The last 4 for the straps will be done at the very end. I am too tired to do any more right now. They look pretty good though, since they're gold coloured they blend in fairly well with the fabric.
