Would you believe...
May. 1st, 2007 12:31 pmSo I was sewing nad moving right along. I was on the very last piece sewing the boning channels and on the second last channel when... The machine started going wonky again!!! This time I was able to show my mom, so I am no longer nuts. I was feeling like that guy in the cartoon with the frog that sings and dances, but whenever anybody else would come around all it would say was, "Ribbit." And thus the poor guy looks crazy because he's going around telling people that this frog sings and dances. Really though, it's enough to drive anyone nuts.
I've been thinking a lot about what I would bring to Costume College next year if I go. I think I'd stick to just two eras so that there's not a lot of underpinnings to bring. Plus, that would mean less sewing for me, which is a good thing considering how long it takes me to get anything done. :p (When I actually get cracking on stuff it doesn't really take that long, but all these starts and stops get really discouraging.) And I think I've decided on late 18th century and Edwardian. But that's just my thoughts for now. Before that I was certain I was going to do late 18th century and Natural Form. Silly Brain. :)
