Eyelets

I finished the cable ties yesterday and have begun on the eyelets. There are 2 done and 14 to go. Luckily I decided to go without straps, otherwise it would have been 20 eyelets to do. My finger hurts. It takes me about 20 minutes per eyelet from start to finish (including making the hole.) Techinically I should be able to finish the eyelets in two days, but I think it might take three. Still, for me this is pretty darn good. Truckin' along at a right steady pace.

Time to go walk the dog.

More eyelets

Currently done 5 eyelets. I am so proud of myself that it's a little sad. :S I love sewing things now, though, because I can see the improvement in each new thing. Plus, this will be the first historical thing that I've made and finished. I am not looking forward to looking for something to bind it with however. I think there's some red satin in the sewing room, but I don't want to cut bias strips which I think I'll have to do. Oh well, anything for sewing.

On another note, this Thursday I am getting a Hair Cut. It needs capitals because I am cutting off at least 10" to donate to cancer wigs. Right now it is the longest it has ever been: just reaching my elbows. It will get cut to just above my shoulders. I'm a little nervous and I know I'll miss my hair since I've been enjoying the length. I'm also going to get red streaks put in which will be cheaper since my hair will be shorter. Yay!
