It's not my fault... honest
Jul. 17th, 2005 03:49 pmOk, so I have gotten very little sewing done since I last posted. But you can't blame me because I spent all of yesterday reading Harry Potter. Clearly new Harry Potter takes priority over hand sewing straight lines. That was an amazing read. The ending... Wow. I can't wait for the next one. Those books are so engrossing to read. I just had to know what was going to happen. I read in the car which is a guarantee for me to get carsick and yet I couldn't stop.
Ah well. I'll get some sewing done today. Only a couple more inches of backstitching before I start in on the cording. I think I am going to put the cords beside the seams already sewn and then sew them in, instead of sewing all the channels first because I couldn't sew a straight line by hand if my life depended on it. Plus I am going to switch from backstitch to a (I think?)double running stitch... Well I know for sure it's called a Holbein stitch. Then I can save on some thread.
