Spring is sprung

Our weather has been Springy lately. Here that means tons and tons of rain interspersed with super nice sunny days. Today was one of the latter. Almost too warm for my liking but I'm told I'm crazy and odd because I like our -35 degree Celsius winters. The past few days were extremely rainy, so the sun was a nice change. My provincial English exam is over and done with. : ) Our topic was "Lines", which sounds kinda dumb but really isn't too bad. I've begun work on my "masterpiece" for art, which is really just the last piece of work we do and submit with our exam. It's going to be a landscape of a picture I took in Fontainebleau, France done in a bunch of different styles.

Haven't been doing any sewing on my corset but have got some work done on my grad dress. The lining is put together and the fashion fabric has been cut out. I got a bunch of books out from the library and now at my house are: Patterns of Fashion 1 & 2, Costume in Detail, The Cut of Women's Clothes, and Revolution in Fashion 1715-1815. They make me wish I had all my undergarments already made for the era spanning 1730-1930 and unlimited quantities of money with which to buy fabric and a much larger excess of spare time in which to make all these garments. HOWEVER, some nice person who took out Revolution in Fashion before me also decided to take out some of the pages before I got to see them. I was quite miffed when I noticed. So now I have to go back to the library and tell them that their book needs medical attention.

Add to that irritation the fact that I discovered these missing pages whilst watching last night's hockey game and Calgary lost. ArGh! I'm afraid that it's going to go to game 7 and if it doesn't then I'm afraid that Tampa might win before we get there. I have great faith in Iginla and Kiprusoff though. GO CALGARY!!!
