Cut out the strips for binding my stays yesterday. Also cut out some white cotton for a generic Elizabethan-18th century style shirt. Basically rectangles for the front, back, and sleeves and the cuffs and collar that I haven't cut out yet... or the ruffles for said cuffs and collar. However, since not much of it will be seen since it will always be under stuff, and since I haven't gotten my head around finishing seams when they're joining in weird ways with gussets and such, I've decided to opt out of putting in the underarm and neck gussets. I guess I'll have to figure those out for my Regency shift, but that won't be for a long while yet.
