mala_14My chemise is complete. All I need to do is run a thin ribbon through the beading lace. :)
I feel like I've been really productive lately. It feels really good to get this sewing done. It's tough sometimes because I have homework and there are other things that I want to do like take naps or waste time on the computer or watch movies, but spending just an hour or two a day and a little bit more on weekends seems to get stuff done. I just need to try to keep disciplined.
Up next, flounced petticoat. It's also going to have cording through the headers of the flounces and a few channels in the petticoat. I'm hoping this will give it some good structure. If I decided to make a full corded petticoat I don't think it'd ever get done. (Another thing I've learned about myself, if I can't see decently quick progress, then I never feel like working on it.)
