Helpful Advice

I showed my mom the corset and she was impressed. She really liked the way it looked. She also told me that I could fix the wrinkling by taking in the side and back pieces a little. Apparently I'm somewhat short-waisted. She told me that I should make it in satin. I don't think she totally gets the whole "historical accuracy" thing though. I guess I have to go and fix those pattern pieces.
