Thank you! It was pretty cool and nice to wear outside. Although the bonnet definitely made things too warm. (It was a bonnet made from polyester borrowed from a friend. I have a feeling that a straw or tulle bonnet would have been more appropriate for the weather and been cooler.)
Yeah, I thought it was going to be very pointed, but turned out almost round, which surprised me. People who do mid-century probably have a better idea of the pattern shape for the point than me.
The living history event was not very fun. Just standing around in the museum directing guests. But I wore it again at our local Doors Open event to go exploring local historical sites and that was a lot of fun!
