Veronica Lake Hair Part 1

The inspiration picture. (Who doesn't want this hair?) And my first attempt. I slept in pincurls. They were pretty large and all the ones on the left went counterclockwise and all the ones on the right went clockwise. It's not too bad. I think next time I need to make smaller pincurls so that I have more rows and so that the peek-a-boo starts higher up. Also, I need to do the switching back and forth thing for the rows (clockwise and counterclockwise) to get more of a wave.

Not sure if this is particularly interesting to anyone, but I like keeping track of what I've tried. Once I really perfect it, I'll share the setting pattern. Pincurls can be tricky!
