It's really interesting to have a structure that isn't self-imposed. Sometimes I have to be more creative than usual to fit a challenge and sometimes the challenges give that extra spur to complete something I've been putting off. I've had years where I don't sew more than a few things, but challenges like this really help motivate me. However, I decided pretty early on that I wouldn't be able to handle the fortnightly aspect of it; I'm just not that productive. And, as per this month, sometimes life just gets in the way and I have to be kind to myself and not feel badly over missing the deadlines. (Even though I wish I could be a costuming superstar and do ALL the challenges all the time.)
