Lapped zipper

I just finished installing the zipper on my shorts using Casey's lapped zipper tutorial. It was the first time I've ever used this technique, and I have to say, this was THE most trouble-free zipper I have ever put in. I didn't even need to baste it, although I'm sure the fact that I'm using cotton twill has something to do with that. I want to make all my zippers lapped from now on. If you've never tried it, you should. :)
